By hiring RedRock Builder, you agree to the following terms. These exist to keep expectations clear and protect both you and RedRock Builder.

Scope of Work

REDROCK BUILDER provides design guidance, carpentry work, custom builds, space improvements, and DIY support. All work is performed by one person, and timelines may shift based on materials, project changes, or on‑site conditions.

Licensing & Permits

REDROCK BUILDER is not licensed for any trade that requires a professional license in your city, county, or state. REDROCK BUILDER does not pull permits, file permits, or act as a licensed contractor for any work requiring one.

You, the homeowner, are 100% responsible for understanding your local building codes, obtaining permits, scheduling inspections, and hiring licensed professionals when required.

Homeowner Responsibilities

You must provide accurate project information, safe working conditions, and full access to the workspace. You agree to disclose any known structural, electrical, plumbing, or safety issues that may affect the project.

All products, finishes, fixtures, and materials used in your project are selected and approved by you. REDROCK BUILDER is not responsible for:

  • product defects

  • manufacturer issues

  • color variations

  • material performance

  • delays caused by suppliers or shipping

Any warranties for materials or products come directly from the manufacturer, not from REDROCK BUILDER.

Warranty Limitations

REDROCK BUILDER does not provide warranties on:

  • finished projects

  • workmanship

  • long‑term performance

  • wear and tear

  • damage caused by misuse, environment, or future work done by others

Once the project is completed and approved by you, all responsibility for maintenance, performance, and future issues transfers fully to you.

Liability & Limitations

REDROCK BUILDER is not liable for any damages, failures, or issues related to:

  • pre‑existing conditions

  • hidden defects

  • structural problems

  • code violations

  • work done by previous contractors or homeowners

  • your use of tools or equipment

  • any DIY work you perform

All decisions you make based on recommendations or guidance are your responsibility.

DIY Collaboration Projects

If you are leading the project and REDROCK BUILDER is assisting, you acknowledge that you are the project manager. REDROCK BUILDER provides support and skilled labor only. You are responsible for all final decisions, measurements, code compliance, and structural choices.

Payments & Scheduling

Pricing, deposits, and payment schedules will be agreed upon before work begins. The payment made at the time of booking is not the final cost of the full project. This initial payment serves as a first‑meeting deposit and will be applied toward your total project cost only if you choose to proceed with the project.

If you decide not to move forward after the initial meeting, this deposit is non‑refundable. Work may be paused or rescheduled if payments are late or incomplete.
